JULY KIDS' FISHING CONTEST
July 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. **
If you missed our first contest, try this one. This is a fabulous kids' event. Entry fee is free for all ages and try to catch a big bass or crappie for some awesome prizes. Equipment is provided and mentors are there for guidance.
** Kids ages 1-7 will be fishing from 9-9:45 a.m. ** Kids ages 8-12 will be fishing from 10-10:45 a.m.
Stroll through the park and see over 40 booths of many fine arts and crafts. Enjoy free entertainment. A special craft area for children will be provided. There is free admission to the park on this day. Food is available. To register for a booth, please use link.

Ski our beautiful groomed trails by candlelight. Enjoy a bonfire and some warm refreshments by the Nature Center.
Run along a beautiful and challenging course. The run starts at the beach and goes through the woods and prairies on park trails. Free admission to the park. There is an entry fee for the run. Please see our Trail Challenge page for more information and to register.

5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
These are special activity days where you can try your hand at snowshoeing ... see what animal tracks you can find during the winter, try fish casting, talk about certain animals and explore other activities that are set-up. See what is occurring at the park all year round. For our winter snowshoe days some snowshoes are provided free of charge for these events. If you need a pair, please register with the Nature Center at email@example.com or at 715.386.9340.

Come to the Nature Center between 5:30-7:30 p.m. to experience a fun and spooky evening. The event is FREE and there will be games, crafts, snacks, storytelling, and more for the family to enjoy.
