Kids' Fishing Opportunities ...
Art Along the Willow

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 



January 17, 2015


This is a fabulous kids' event. Entry fee is free for all ages and try to catch a big bass or crappie for some awesome prizes for all. Bait and some equipment will be provided. Mentors will be there for guidance. Sponsored by the St. Croix County Sportsmen's Alliance and partners. Normal park admission is required. 

             ** Kids ages 6-12 are eligible to fish!                   



Stroll through the park and see over 40 booths of many fine arts and crafts.  Enjoy free entertainment. A special craft area for children will be provided. There is free admission to the park on this day. Food is available.  To register for a booth, please use link.

Trail Challenge

Candlelight Ski

February 14, 2015

6-8:30 p.m.

Ski our beautiful groomed trails by candlelight. Enjoy a bonfire and some warm refreshments by the Nature Center. 


Run along a beautiful and challenging course. The run starts at the beach and goes through the woods and prairies on park trails. Free admission to the park. There is an entry fee for the run. Please see our Trail Challenge page for more information.

These are special activity days where you can try your hand at snowshoeing ... see what animal tracks you can find during the winter, try fish casting, talk about certain animals and explore other activities that are set-up. See what is occurring at the park all year round. For our winter snowshoe days some snowshoes are provided free of charge for these events. If you need a pair, please register with the Nature Center at willowrivernaturecenter@gmail.com or at 715.386.9340.

Fun for the entire family! 

Come to the Nature Center between to experience a fun and spooky evening.
